Tune Up Indy

YOUR COACHES

Running - Julie Patterson has long been an athlete and appears on WISH TV’s Daybreak. She has run several competitive half marathons and shorter races but her current favorite distance is the marathon. She has run 5 including back to back Bostons.

Walking - Abby Troyer began walking after a third knee surgery prevented her from playing most sports and running. She enjoys helping others eat better and get more active and believes being passionate about your physical activity routine is a key to lifelong health.

Nutrition - Melissa Greives is a RD (registered dietitian) at University Hospital. She has completed four marathons and several triathlons, including the 2010 Wisconsin Ironman.

Stretching - Melody Baughman is a physical therapist by day and has been teaching fitness classes for decades including aerobics, toning with weights and Pilates. She will focus her attention on those who are first time runners and those who don't necessarily feel the "need for great speed." We love our Turtle runners!

We also have leaders for participants of different speeds and fitness levels. You may meet your next training partner here!

FROM PAST PARTICIPANTS
The coaches pushed me harder than I ever would have pushed myself and it paid off. I never thought that I would be able to run 1 mile, and now I feel confident running a half marathon! What a big difference the TuneUp program has made for me! – Phyllis

The coaching and motivation were great and the friends I made were even better!! This program has helped to make me a better runner and a healthier person. – Keeter

Without the group, I never would have made it through the Mini training process. Not only did I finish the race with a great time, I met some fantastic women who became much more than training partners. - Michelle
